Pricing questions

Yes. Rupam.ai offers a permanent free tier with 150 scans per month — no credit card required. This is enough to test skin analysis results on your own photos and validate quality before committing. API keys are self-serve on Growth and Professional; on Free you can request API access from the dashboard.

Overage scans are billed at ₹3/scan (Starter), ₹2.25/scan (Growth), and ₹1.5/scan (Professional), plus 18% GST. You will receive email alerts at 80% and 100% of your monthly quota. You can also upgrade at any time to avoid overage charges.

All face scan data is processed and stored on Bharat-hosted infrastructure (AWS Mumbai ap-south-1 region). The platform is built with Bharat's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023 in mind. No scan data is transferred outside Bharat without explicit customer consent.

Generic face detection APIs charge $0.001–$0.0015 per image but only detect faces — they don't read skin concerns. Rupam.ai analyses 15 skin concern parameters, classifies Fitzpatrick skin type, maps concerns to your product catalogue, and generates a personalised skincare routine. It is a complete personalization engine, not image labeling.

Yes. Rupam.ai offers a native Shopify plugin available on all paid plans. It connects to your Shopify product catalogue automatically and can be installed without developer help in under 60 minutes.

API keys are self-serve on Growth and Professional. On Free and Starter you can request API access from the Integrations page of your dashboard; our team reviews each request. Everything else about the API works the same, within the limits of your plan.
